Kool Aid Premium Stirs Up Consumer Response
Just about every "kid" from
two to 80 recognizes the signature Kool-Aid man's smiling face.
The bright red stirring spoona new addition to Kool-Aid
Brand's Wacky Warehouse mail-in-offeris not only fun and
functional for kids and parents alike.
It's a great example of a custom, brand-specific
premium that provides long lasting brand recognition for years
to come.
Kraft Foods Inc. wanted to create a durable
plastic spoon to compliment its Kool-Aid brand that was similar
in style to a wooden spoon. We designed a 12-inch plastic spoon
with a solid handle and molded in the signature Kool-Aid red color.
The Kool-Aid man's familiar face was cored out of the bowl of
the spoon and the logo was embossed onto the spoon handle for
increased brand recognition. Careful consideration also was taken
during the design process to produce a unique branded item that
was child-friendly and safe.
The spoon is offered to kids and parents free
(plus shipping and handling) through Kool-Aid brand soft drink
purchase, Kids receive a specific number of points that can be
redeemed for "Free Stuff" through its wacky Warehouse
program, which is promoted in-store and on Kraft's website.
